ACT DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM
It's crazy that our children are living in a digital age - now referred to as the Fourth Industrial Revolution - and so few of them are adequately prepared for what living through this revolution requires. There are so many new challenges and opportunities, that if our students are not prepared for them, they are likely to either damage their future or miss out on exciting possibilities.
The Digital Citizenship Program is designed to ensure that neither of these scenarios occur. Using our Activated approach to learning, this Program equips students to be effective Digital Citizens. These are some of the important aspects that are covered.

- Future learn ready - We new and active ways of learning that are lifelong. The future you think is coming will be different, how can you be ready for the unexpected?
- Internet brain security installed - You get a message - "We have temporarily locked your email account due to unusual activity. Please login again to verify and unlock it." You do, and have just had your information stolen and you didn't even know.
- Job/University ready - You apply for a job or to a place of study and the first thing they do is Google you. What do they find?
- Social filters installed - You setup an online Whatsapp group and someone starts a racial rant in the group. It becomes public. You didn't make the post, but you're in hot legal water.
- Passion to Plans - How can a passion for video games be turned into opportunities in the online world.
- Netiquette installed - You email an important connection "Yo, thx" and never hear from them again. It's important to know when and how to communicate online and offline in a digital world.
- Digital presence - You've realised that your online presence is not professional and you want to address that for potential employers and colleges. You need to get your name out there.

- Digital Presence - Establish your online identity and create a personal website
