Curation Pedagogy Taste

Picture
The ACT Model consists of five active layers, where each layer is a pedagogy that can be applied in the classroom. In this activity you'll briefly sample the first layer of the ACT model - the Curation pedagogy. Curation is the process of finding, grouping and organising content into a meaningful and useful form.

Curation Activity
A friend of yours is coming to South Africa for 2 weeks for the "trip of a lifetime". They have asked you to recommend three places they must visit when they come here. Which 3 places would you recommend? Share your list here.

Reflection
Creating a list like this requires you to curate all the places you know about and select, based on some criteria a top 3. This is not easy to do, and immediately activates your brain. This is a taste of the process of curating.
